InterHouse Unity KAL

I have a confession to make. We weren't supposed to start knitting on the DreamSwatch project until July 4, but I just couldn't stand the suspense. I kept reading the pattern and was so intrigued by the new stitch that I just HAD to start it! Besides, DH was on an all night sailing race, and I had ALL NIGHT to myself. So, here's the progress so far.

Pretty, huh? I just used some stash yarn--didn't have the cool bamboo the pattern calls for and didn't want to drive the 30 minutes to the LYS to see if they had any. Why is it in Ravenclaw colors, you ask? The reason is that, if I'm fortunate enough to be chosen to receive a RAOK, then I will, in turn, RAOK a certain Ravenclaw who I'd like to befriend. If that happens, she will be the recipient of the final product, and if not, it will look good with jeans and my denim shirt.
